May’s mission in life is to help 1,000,000 people achieve their full potential. Prior to setting this audacious goal, May enjoyed a 24-year career at Morgan Stanley spanning two continents and nine different business roles across Investment Banking, Capital Markets and Firm Management. She was most recently Chief Operating Officer for Europe where she was responsible for the development and implementation of the Firm’s business strategy in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
May is also Senior Advisor and Executive in Residence in the Office of the President, and Professor of Practice at W.P. Carey School of Business, at Arizona State University. May is a founding partner of May Busch & Associates Ltd, a private consultancy in the UK that works with top leaders and their teams to help advance their organizations, particularly in the areas of organizational strategy, leadership development, client effectiveness, and gender diversity.
May graduated with a BA magna cum laude in Economics from Harvard University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
In her spare time, she enjoys fitness (cross-fit!), blogging (on leadership, career success, and life lessons), reading (mostly non-fiction), piano, spending time with her family, and finding cool new ideas and people.
